I’ve been wanting to check out Waycaster Tiki for a while and my husband’s birthday was just the occasion to do so! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we were both blown away by the atmosphere, quality of drinks and service. I made a reservation on the website ahead of time since I knew they had limited tables available—I definitely recommend making a reservation. The “exclusivity” adds to the experience, IMO. It’s intimate and unique. When we checked in, the host gave us several options for tables—we only opted to wait at the bar (ten minutes max) for a group to leave because I wanted to cozy up to my husband on the rattan couch. Can’t wait to return!

What a delightful hidden gem! We were warmly greeted upon entry and they were able to take us within a couple minutes even though we didn't have her to the reservation. (*Note to self: make reservation next time, especially after 6pm) An immersive atmosphere awaits you with delightful decor from floor to ceiling. The music and lighting fits the vibe, it's just bright enough to read the menus and make everybody at your table and your drinks look great! The menu explains the drinks well. If you're into Rum check out their rum flights to get a nip out of some special bottles.

Great tiki bar. The atmosphere is amazing; darkly lit, 1950/Polynesian decor, and mellow tiki style music. The drinks are also fantastic. Highly quality rum and gorgeous presentations make for amazing cocktails. I highly recommend and am looking forward to coming back. If you're a tiki bar conisour like me you won't want to miss this one.

This was probably the best experience I had a tiki bar in a long time. The service was good but they drinks were amazing!! The atmosphere was perfect, from the temperature of the restaurant to the live tiki music..

Waycaster Tiki We *finally* got a chance to visit this great tiki bar in South Lyon, Michigan. Very high quality ambiance, cool musical vibe, wonderful drinks, fun merchandise, and flavorful snacks. No full food service available, but the snacks are high quality. I highly recommend frequent visits. I'm already planning my birthday party here!

I’ve never been to a Tiki bar quite like this one ! The attention to detail, decor, & ambiance is next level authentic and awesome. Will definitely stop by again anytime we are in the near vacinity ! Got some new Tiki mugs and glasses to display at home, too !

This was a fantastic time. Sitting at the bar gave us the opportunity to see the preparation of some fabulous tiki drinks including a bowl that we alas didn't have quorum for, but also to talk shop about the ins and outs of rums and tiki drink components. I had a very good time with the Aloha Luela, and the Mystic Elixir was top notch. The vibe and decor made it very easy to relax and enjoy the time. Wish I could give it a sixth star.

What a true Gem! So good to see a local real Tiki Bar in a small town on main street! Jonathan has done a fabulous job building out this space out, making great drinks and having the perfect music for an escapism experience. This is the only authentic Tiki Bar in the Detroit area left, please try it out!

Waycaster Tiki Bar is the best tiki bar I’ve ever been to! Every single drink is spectacular, but the Painkiller, Singapore Sling, and Puka Punch are absolute standouts. The owner is hilarious and instantly makes you feel right at home. With its unmatched atmosphere and phenomenal drinks, this spot is a must-visit!!!

This place is Crazy Awesome! It is literally like a portal to a tropical destination circa 1950! Drinks are spectacular and STRONG! A must try! We stopped for an after work cocktail, will return with friends! Food options are simple but good, I needed food to balance the drinks!! Kiera and Michael were wonderful ! We came in on a Friday a bit before 5:00. They say it gets bumpin around 6:00 - reservations would be a good idea I suspect.
